Nominations are invited for awards to honour top sporting achievement and voluntary service across Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.

An Cathaoirleach, Councillor Cormac Devlin’s Sports Awards gives residents of the County an opportunity to honour those unsung volunteers or outstanding young sport persons from within Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.

The awards will take place on the 25^th May 2017, in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dún Laoghaire as the winners in each category are honoured for their hard work & dedication over the past 12 months.

Anyone living in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, representing a school or club within the area is eligible to be nominated on the applicable category, including

·         Club Volunteer Administrator of the Year

·         Club Volunteer Coach of the year

·         Long Service Club Volunteer (over 10 years in volunteering)

·         Young sports person of the year

If you know of a club member who you believe should be recognised for consistently & unselfishly offering up his/her time & effort for the good of their sport, club & community simply complete & return an official Nomination Form. The winners in each category will be chosen by a panel chaired by An Cathaoirleach Cllr Cormac Devlin.
